By BYD has introduced a new premium electric sedan that focuses on two of the biggest priorities for EV buyers: extended driving range and ultra fast charging. The latest model combines a large battery, advanced technology, and strong performance, making it one of the company’s most capable electric vehicles to date.
The new sedan joins BYD’s growing premium lineup as the company continues expanding its presence in the global electric vehicle market.
Designed for longer trips with less waiting
The new electric sedan is available in multiple versions, allowing buyers to choose a model that best suits their driving needs.
According to BYD, the available driving range includes:
- Up to 484 miles on the entry level version
- Up to 571 miles on the mid level version
- Up to 683 miles on the flagship model
These figures are based on the Chinese CLTC testing cycle. Actual driving range will vary under different testing standards and real world driving conditions.
Every version comes with a 102.3 kWh Blade battery that supports extremely fast charging.
BYD says drivers can add a significant amount of driving range in only five minutes under suitable charging conditions. The company also states that charging from 10 percent to 97 percent can take around nine minutes when using compatible high power charging equipment.
Technology focused from inside to out
The new sedan offers more than long driving range. BYD has equipped the vehicle with several advanced technologies aimed at improving comfort, safety, and performance.
