The Sindh government has introduced a groundbreaking initiative to provide free pink scooters to working women, ensuring safe and reliable transportation. This move aims to empower women by giving them greater mobility, independence, and protection from daily commuting challenges.

Pink Scooters: A Step Toward Women’s Empowerment

Announced by Senior Minister for Transport, Sharjeel Inam Memon, the initiative will help women travel safely and comfortably, reducing their reliance on public transport or expensive private rides. Many women in Sindh face transportation barriers that limit their access to work and education, and these free pink scooters will significantly improve their daily commutes and overall quality of life.

Pink Taxi Service to Enhance Women’s Safety

In addition to pink scooters, the Sindh government is also planning to launch a pink taxi service designed exclusively for women. This service will offer a secure and comfortable travel option, allowing women to commute with confidence and peace of mind.

Progress on the Yellow Line BRT Project

Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon also provided an update on the much-anticipated Yellow Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The project is currently ahead of schedule and is expected to be completed five months earlier than planned, significantly improving public transportation in Sindh.

New Job Opportunities with the “I Work for Sindh” App

To further support employment in the province, the Sindh government is launching the “I Work for Sindh” app, designed to connect job seekers with various opportunities across different sectors. This initiative aims to reduce unemployment and provide greater career prospects for the people of Sindh.

The Sindh government’s latest initiatives mark a significant step toward women’s empowerment, improved transportation, and job creation. By introducing free pink scooters, a pink taxi service, and the “I Work for Sindh” app, the government is enhancing mobility, safety, and economic opportunities for citizens. These measures will positively impact countless lives, making Sindh a more inclusive and progressive province.
