A Canadian motorcycle manufacturer has introduced a new electric two wheeler that combines classic motorcycle styling with modern electric technology. The new Beachman Aviator draws inspiration from vintage cafe racer motorcycles while offering practical features for today’s riders.
The company has launched the model in multiple versions to suit different riding needs, ranging from an e bike configuration to a light electric motorcycle.
Classic design meets electric mobility
The Beachman Aviator features styling inspired by British cafe racer motorcycles from the 1960s. Despite its retro appearance, the vehicle includes modern components and electric power.
The lineup currently includes:
- A Class 2 electric bike with pedals
- A light electric motorcycle
- A higher performance version planned for a future release
Each version shares the same overall design while offering different performance levels and legal classifications.

Battery options and riding range
Buyers can choose between two battery configurations depending on their travel requirements.
Available battery options include:
- 2.8 kWh removable battery
- 4.3 kWh battery with extended driving range
The standard battery offers more than 55 miles of estimated range, while the larger option increases the claimed range to over 80 miles on a full charge.
Charging can be completed using a standard household power outlet, making daily charging simple for most owners.

Different versions for different riders
The entry level version qualifies as a Class 2 electric bike in many regions and includes pedals to meet local regulations. This version does not require the same licensing requirements as a traditional motorcycle in applicable markets.

For riders seeking additional performance, the Light Motorcycle version offers:
- Higher top speed
- Increased carrying capacity
- Similar battery options
- Registration and licensing requirements
Beachman also plans to introduce a premium electric motorcycle later with greater performance and longer driving range.

Practical features for everyday use
Beyond its retro styling, the Aviator includes several modern convenience and safety features.
Some key equipment includes:
- LED lighting
- Turn signals
- Mirrors
- USB C charging port
- Built in storage compartment
- Anti theft security system
- Remote start and stop functionality
These additions help make the motorcycle suitable for regular commuting as well as recreational riding.

Production underway
Beachman says every Aviator is built after receiving a customer order rather than being mass produced in advance.
The company is currently completing existing preorders before expanding full production. Earlier development of the project received support through a crowdfunding campaign.
With growing interest in lightweight electric transportation, the Beachman Aviator adds another option for riders who want modern electric performance combined with timeless motorcycle design.
