Initially launched in Lahore, the electric bus service has since been expanded to several cities, including Mianwali, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, and others. The introduction of electric buses in Murree is a significant step forward for sustainable transport in Pakistan’s most popular hill station. Alongside the electric bus service, the Chief Minister also unveiled plans for a glass rail project connecting Rawalpindi to Murree. Once operational, this project will offer residents and tourists a modern, scenic, and efficient mode of transport, further boosting the region’s tourism and connectivity.
