United Motorcycles has unveiled its latest 70cc model, boasting 26 upgrades aimed at enhancing performance, durability, and ride comfort priced at PKR 109,500/- only. According to United, the new model offers notable improvements in key areas, but how does it compare to the previous version? Let’s take a detailed look.

Key Upgrades in the New Model

  1. Enhanced Seat Assembly & Seat Carrier:
One of the standout improvements is in the seat assembly. The new model features an enhanced seat carrier that claims to offer greater durability and long-lasting comfort for riders. For comparison, the previous model had a standard seat assembly, which, while functional, lacked the added reinforcement now present.
  2. Fuel Tank Design:
The new fuel tank not only boasts high-quality paint but also sports fresh graphics, giving the bike a more appealing look. While the previous model had a decent finish, the updated design marks a noticeable improvement in terms of aesthetics. However, functionality-wise, both models offer similar fuel capacity, so the upgrades are largely visual.
  3. Durability Improvements:
Several components of the new 70cc bike have been strengthened, including the swingarm assembly, frame body, main stand, and Kickstarter arm assembly. This adds to the bike’s overall robustness, making it more durable compared to the older model. Riders of the previous version often mentioned occasional wear-and-tear issues in these areas, which seem to have been addressed in this new release.
  4. Improved Control:
For better control, the new model includes a cable front brake and clutch with lever boots, which are designed for smoother operation. The pedal gears have also been updated to ensure a more seamless experience while riding. Comparatively, the older model had a more basic braking and gear system, which some riders found less efficient during long-distance rides.
  5. Upgraded Lighting and Safety Features:
Safety upgrades include stronger indicator lights, a new taillight, and an improved headlight assembly. While the older model’s lighting system was functional, it did not offer the same level of brightness or durability. These upgrades promise better visibility and longer-lasting performance, especially during night rides.
  6. Additional New Features:
Other components such as the step bar, toolbox, sprocket rear, seat pipe, cover air cleaner, and side cover have been updated in the new model. While these might seem minor, they contribute to the overall build quality and longevity of the motorcycle.

Comparing the Old Model vs. the New Model

The 70cc models from United Motorcycles have always been known for their affordability and reliability. However, the new model claims to push these qualities further with its numerous upgrades. Here’s a breakdown of the differences:

  • Durability: The new model clearly has the upper hand with reinforced parts and a stronger frame, swingarm, and other components, providing a more robust ride experience compared to the older version.
  • Ride Comfort: The enhanced seat assembly is likely to be a big draw for those who take long rides. The older model, while comfortable for short distances, may not match up in terms of long-term comfort.
  • Safety: The stronger lighting system in the new model is a
