Sleeker Exterior Design

The 2025 Honda HR-V sports a refreshed, more dynamic exterior that aligns with Honda’s latest design philosophy. The front fascia now features a wider, more prominent grille adorned with chrome accents, flanked by redesigned headlights with sharper, more defined LED elements. The taillights at the rear have also been slimmed down and showcase a new LED light signature, giving the SUV a more sophisticated and modern look.

Upgraded Interior with High-Tech Features

Inside, the 2025 HR-V has received a substantial makeover. The dashboard features a cleaner, more functional layout with a larger touchscreen infotainment system that now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Honda has also upgraded the interior materials, adding soft-touch surfaces and premium accents for a more refined feel. Enhanced ambient lighting, improved seating comfort, and an advanced climate control system contribute to a comfortable and luxurious driving experience. Ample storage space and other practical features make the cabin both user-friendly and spacious.

Key interior features include:

  • Improved seating comfort and support
  • Enhanced ambient lighting for a premium feel
  • Advanced climate control system
  • Expanded storage options

Hybrid-Only Powertrain for Impressive Fuel Efficiency

The Thai-spec 2025 HR-V continues Honda’s hybrid-only approach, combining a 131 PS/253 Nm electric motor with a 106 PS/127 Nm 1.5-liter petrol engine. This powertrain offers an impressive fuel economy of 25.6 km/L and an estimated range of over 800 km, making it an ideal choice for drivers who prioritize efficiency and eco-friendliness. The RS variant further enhances the driving experience with variable-ratio steering for better control and handling.

Advanced Safety Features

Safety remains a top priority for Honda, and the 2025 HR-V is packed with an array of advanced safety features designed to enhance driver confidence and protect passengers. Key safety features include:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS): Helps prevent or mitigate the severity of frontal collisions.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): Maintains a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead.
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS): Helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane.
  • Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM): Prevents the vehicle from drifting off the road.
  • Auto High-Beam Headlights: Automatically switches between high and low beams depending on road conditions.

Additional safety technologies like adaptive cruise control with Low Speed Follow, front departure alert, and autonomous emergency braking enhance the overall driving experience, making the HR-V a standout in terms of safety.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 Honda HR-V is now available in Thailand with three variants:

  • eE: 899,000 baht (Rs. 7,292,875) for a limited time, increasing to 949,000 baht (Rs. 7,698,485) after January 1, 2025.
  • eEL: 1,079,000 baht (Rs. 8,753,072)
  • eRS: 1,179,000 baht (Rs. 9,564,293)

With its combination of updated design, high-tech features, efficient hybrid powertrain, and a strong suite of safety enhancements, the 2025 Honda HR-V remains a strong competitor in the compact SUV segment. As Honda plans to introduce the model to additional markets, including Malaysia, it is likely to attract drivers who value style, technology, and fuel efficiency in a versatile SUV.
