Lexus has introduced the new TZ, its first fully electric three row SUV designed for families seeking luxury, space, and long driving range. The upcoming model combines premium comfort with modern EV technology as the brand expands its electric vehicle lineup.
The Lexus TZ offers seating for multiple passengers while delivering an estimated driving range of up to 300 miles. With standard all wheel drive and advanced interior features, the SUV aims to compete in the growing premium electric SUV segment.
Luxury focused design and spacious interior
Lexus designed the TZ to provide a refined and quiet driving experience. The company says the SUV delivers the quietest cabin of any Lexus SUV so far, thanks to additional sound insulation and aerodynamic improvements.
Inside, the cabin focuses heavily on comfort and space. The SUV features a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, heated seating, and ventilated second row captain chairs with power ottomans. Lexus also uses premium materials throughout the interior to create a lounge style atmosphere for passengers.
The three row layout gives the vehicle a family friendly setup while still maintaining the upscale design expected from the luxury brand.
Battery options and performance details
The Lexus TZ comes with two battery choices, including a larger pack designed to deliver up to 300 miles of driving range. All versions include dual motor all wheel drive as standard equipment.
The electric powertrain produces strong performance figures while also improving traction and handling in different driving conditions. Lexus says the system can dynamically adjust torque distribution between the front and rear wheels for better stability and cornering performance.
Fast charging support is also included, allowing drivers to recharge the battery more efficiently during long trips.

Charging and modern EV features
The new SUV includes a native NACS charging port, giving owners direct access to Tesla Superchargers and other compatible charging stations without requiring an adapter.
Lexus also equips the TZ with battery preconditioning and vehicle to load functionality. This feature allows owners to use the vehicle’s battery to power external devices and appliances when needed.

In addition, optional rear wheel steering improves maneuverability and handling, especially in tighter spaces and urban driving situations.
Lexus expands its electric SUV lineup
The launch of the TZ marks an important step in Lexus’ transition toward electric mobility. As demand for larger electric SUVs grows globally, the company is expanding its lineup to attract buyers looking for premium EV alternatives.
The TZ combines long range capability, advanced technology, and luxury focused comfort in a segment that continues to gain popularity. More information regarding pricing and trim levels is expected closer to the vehicle’s official release.
With the TZ, Lexus strengthens its position in the premium EV market while targeting families who want both practicality and high end features in an all electric SUV.
