Lahore Traffic Police has issued a Lahore Traffic Advisory Today for the Nabi Pur Shian Muharram procession, informing citizens about temporary road closures, traffic diversions, and alternate travel routes across key areas of the city on June 22, 2026.
The advisory has been issued to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain security arrangements during the religious procession. Authorities have urged motorists to plan their journeys in advance and avoid affected routes during peak procession hours.
Muharram Procession Route in Lahore
According to Lahore Traffic Police, the Muharram procession will begin from Imambargah Syed Abdullah Shah, move through Street Nabi Pur Shian, and return to the same location where it will conclude.
To facilitate the procession and ensure public safety, traffic restrictions will remain in effect from 1:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Roads Closed in Lahore Today
As part of the traffic plan, the following route will remain closed for all kinds of traffic:
- Canal Road from Mughalpura Underpass to Lal Pul
- Canal Road from Mughalpura Underpass to Nawan Pul
