Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has announced a price hike for all Kia Sportage variants starting January 1, 2025, marking the end of their limited-time offer. This announcement follows the reduction in Sportage prices earlier this year and the successful EMI offer introduced in July 2024.

Kia Sportage: A Market Leader

Since its launch in Pakistan, the Kia Sportage has been a trendsetter, leading the crossover SUV market and becoming the top-selling model for Lucky Motor Corporation. Earlier this year, Kia introduced reduced prices for the Sportage by up to Rs. 300,000, which contributed to its strong sales momentum.

Future Updates on the New Generation Sportage

While it was anticipated that Kia would introduce the new generation Sportage at the PAPS 2024 (Pakistan Auto Show), recent reports suggest the launch has been pushed to 2025.

Last Chance to Lock in Current Prices

Customers looking to purchase a Kia Sportage are urged to take advantage of the current prices before the hike takes effect on January 1, 2025. Given its legacy of performance, style, and features, the Sportage remains a top choice for SUV enthusiasts in Pakistan.

In a bold move that breaks industry norms, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has announced it will keep Haval SUV prices unchanged despite the new NEV Levy under the 2025–26 budget. By absorbing the tax internally, Sazgar aims to protect customers and maintain its edge in Pakistan’s competitive hybrid SUV market, challenging rivals like Kia and Hyundai to rethink their pricing strategies.

Pak Suzuki Hikes Car Prices Following New Budget 2025–26 Taxes

In response to the Federal Budget 2025–26, which raised the sales tax from 12.5% to 18% and introduced a new NEV Levy, Pak Suzuki has increased the prices of its entire vehicle lineup effective July 1, 2025. Popular models like the Alto, Cultus, Swift, and Ravi have seen significant price hikes, adding further burden on buyers already facing economic pressures. This move may dampen demand, especially among first-time car owners and small businesses, unless future relief measures are introduced.
