Green Tractor Scheme 2025: Punjab Government’s Big Push for Agricultural Reform

Share

The Green Tractor Scheme 2025, spearheaded by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is set to revolutionize agriculture in Punjab by offering 9,500 subsidized tractors to small-scale farmers. This groundbreaking initiative aims to mechanize farming practices, boost productivity, and uplift rural livelihoods — a key step toward food security and modern agricultural reform in Pakistan.

What Is the Green Tractor Scheme 2025?

Launched by the Punjab government, this scheme targets farmers owning up to 50 acres of land, providing each selected candidate with a Rs. 10 lakh (1 million) subsidy to make tractors affordable and accessible. The total number of tractors being distributed under the program is 9,500, with priority given to equitable allocation across all districts of Punjab.

Key Dates and Application Timeline

  • Launch Date: September 2025
  • Application Deadline: October 10, 2025
  • Balloting Date: November 1, 2025
  • Winners Announced: November 15, 2025
  • Tractor Delivery Deadline: March 31, 2026

How to Check Balloting Results

Selected applicants will receive an SMS notification and must submit the remaining payment within 30 days to confirm their allocation. Tractors will be delivered through authorized dealerships by the end of March 2026.
