In a major step forward for Pakistan’s electric mobility sector, ELFA Electric has announced a strategic partnership with Atom Power (Pvt.) Ltd. to power its next generation of e-bikes with locally manufactured, high-performance ATP-series lithium-ion batteries. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in ELFA’s “Made in Pakistan” vision, combining advanced battery technology with smarter, more sustainable mobility solutions designed specifically for Pakistani roads and riders.

Longer Range, Faster Charging, Smarter Tracking

The newly launched ELFA e-bikes, equipped with Atom Power’s ATP-series batteries, promise riders an extended range, quicker charging times, and advanced features such as real-time GPS tracking and smart diagnostics. Riders can monitor battery performance through a dedicated web dashboard, ensuring full control and peace of mind on every journey.

“At ELFA, we believe that great rides come with great service,” said Huma Yahya, CEO of ELFA Electric. “Our partnership with Atom Power means our customers benefit from local manufacturing, local support, and the highest quality standards.”

Driving Local Innovation and Energy Independence

Atom Power’s ATP-series batteries are specifically designed to meet the unique mobility needs and challenging conditions of Pakistan. By producing high-quality lithium-ion batteries domestically, Atom Power is helping to reduce Pakistan’s reliance on imported batteries, which currently make up nearly 90% of the market. The local production push is expected to cut imports by up to 40% within the next three years.

“By combining our strengths, we’re driving innovation, energy independence, and sustainability,” said Waqas Ahmad, CEO of Atom Power. “We’re proud to support local mobility with local energy solutions.”

Creating Jobs and Building Technical Capacity

The move isn’t just about better bikes — it’s about boosting Pakistan’s clean-tech ecosystem. The expansion of local battery production is projected to create over 1,200 skilled jobs in engineering, assembly, supply chain, and after-sales service, supporting economic growth and building much-needed technical capacity in the renewable energy sector.

Supporting Pakistan’s Shift to Clean Energy

As Pakistan’s electric two-wheeler market is projected to grow 25% annually over the next five years — driven by rising fuel costs and environmental concerns — the demand for reliable, high-performance batteries is only increasing. Atom Power’s lightweight lithium-ion batteries offer longer lifespans and lower carbon footprints than conventional alternatives, supporting Pakistan’s transition toward greener, cleaner transportation.

Beyond powering e-bikes, Atom Power is also providing reliable clean energy to households with its Atom Power Wall — a solar battery storage solution designed to tackle frequent load shedding with silent, fuel-free backup power. This smart solution helps families reduce energy bills and replace noisy, polluting diesel generators with a cleaner, safer alternative.

Where to Buy ELFA Bikes?

A Strong Step Toward Sustainable Mobility

The ELFA-Atom Power partnership is more than just a product launch — it’s a statement of intent for Pakistan’s future: smarter mobility, greater energy security, and a boost to local industry and innovation. With locally made batteries and locally supported bikes, Pakistani riders can now enjoy longer rides, smarter features, and a greener tomorrow.
