The automotive industry in Pakistan is gearing up for an eventful 2025 with several high-profile vehicle launches. After a record-breaking year in 2024, featuring new entries from brands like BYD, Deepal, GUGO, and Honri, 2025 is shaping up to continue the trend. Here’s an overview of the cars set to make their debut in Pakistan next year.

Hyundai Tucson 4th Generation

The Hyundai Tucson 4th Generation will hit Pakistani roads in 2025, boasting a sleek modern design and advanced features. While it’s yet to be confirmed if the model will be Completely Knocked Down (CKD) or Completely Built Up (CBU), the vehicle promises to represent the complete fourth generation rather than being a mere cosmetic update. The estimated price for this SUV is 1.1 crore PKR.

Honda HR-V Hybrid (Vezel)

The Honda HR-V Hybrid, internationally recognized as the Vezel, will replace the current non-hybrid version in Pakistan. Scheduled for a 2025 release, this locally manufactured hybrid SUV is tailored to meet the demands of the eco-conscious market. With its emphasis on fuel efficiency and green technology, the HR-V Hybrid is expected to be priced at 90 lacs PKR.

Hyundai Sonata N Line

The Hyundai Sonata N Line is set to offer a sportier alternative in the sedan segment. Based on the 8th generation Sonata, the N Line features performance-oriented upgrades, including a specialized body kit and sporty design cues. As a CKD model, it is anticipated to become one of the priciest sedans in its class, with an estimated cost of 1.3 crore PKR.

5th Generation Kia Sportage

The 5th Generation Kia Sportage will make its way to Pakistan in early 2025, marking a significant update after four successful years on the global market. Unlike a facelift, the Pakistani variant is expected to feature the full international version. While the hybrid status is yet to be confirmed, the SUV is estimated to cost 1.2 crore PKR.

Kia Sorento Hybrid

Kia Sorento Hybrid is another eagerly awaited launch in Pakistan, expected in the first half of 2025. Designed to rival the Haval H6 HEV, this Korean hybrid SUV will come equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo engine capable of achieving an international fuel economy of up to 15 km/l. The local mileage may vary, but the estimated price is 1.8 crore PKR.

GWM Haval Tank 500 HEV

The GWM Haval Tank 500 HEV is set to make waves in Pakistan’s premium SUV market. Positioned as a competitor to the Toyota Prado and Fortuner, this hybrid SUV combines cutting-edge hybrid technology with robust off-road capabilities. A CKD model aimed at adventure enthusiasts, the Tank 500 HEV is projected to cost between 2 to 3 crore PKR.

The upcoming car launches in 2025 reflect the evolving preferences of Pakistani consumers, emphasizing fuel efficiency, hybrid technology, and premium designs. With these exciting entries, the local automotive industry is poised to offer greater diversity and cater to a wide range of preferences and budgets. Stay tuned for more updates as these vehicles hit the market!
