BYD, the world’s largest manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), has officially commenced vehicle deliveries in Pakistan in partnership with Mega Motor Company (MMC). This milestone marks a significant step in the country’s transition toward sustainable mobility.

Starting today, customers in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad will receive their much-anticipated BYD vehicles, showcasing the brand’s commitment to the local market. BYD and MMC aim to deliver up to 100 vehicles within the first 48 hours of operations.

BYD Expands Presence with Experience & Care Centers

To enhance customer experience, MMC has established BYD’s Experience & Care Centers in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. These centers offer a premium environment where customers can explore and engage with BYD’s cutting-edge NEV technology.

The launch of these centers, along with the rollout of BYD SEAL and ATTO 3, reflects BYD and MMC’s confidence in Pakistan’s growing EV market. As the demand for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) continues to rise, BYD and MMC plan to expand their presence by opening 15 more centers across the country in 2025, making sustainable mobility more accessible.

BYD Leadership Comments on Pakistan Expansion

Lei Jian, Country Head of BYD Pakistan, expressed enthusiasm about this development:

“It is an honor to embark on this crucial chapter in Pakistan. BYD has long been dedicated to fulfilling people’s aspirations for a better life through technological innovation. We firmly believe that BYD’s new energy vehicles and technologies will make a significant contribution to Pakistan’s green development journey.”

Danish Khaliq, VP Sales & Strategy of MMC, also shared his excitement:

“We are thrilled to begin vehicle deliveries across Pakistan. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey for BYD and our customers, as we introduce world-class NEV technology to drive Pakistan toward a cleaner and more sustainable future.”
