The deputy speaker confirmed that the Bahawalpur road project is being executed under the SAP-VII program, in collaboration with the Punjab Highway Department and the district administration of Bahawalpur. He noted that coordinated efforts between provincial departments and local authorities will ensure timely completion and high construction standards.

Boost to Local Mobility and Economy

These projects are part of a broader strategy to stimulate economic growth, create employment opportunities, and improve the quality of life for citizens.
Province-Wide Development Drive
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab government has prioritized infrastructure restoration as a cornerstone of its development agenda. The “Restore Roads, Prosper Punjab” initiative aims to modernize the provincial road network and strengthen inter-district connectivity.
