The initiative aims to provide affordable, eco-friendly commuting options for daily passengers, particularly students and employees who travel to the federal capital.

Inauguration and Key Figures

The electric bus service was officially inaugurated at the Fatehjang bus terminal by Sardar Faizan Haider, son of Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan. The event was attended by several key officials, including Assistant Commissioner Humaira Shah and PPP Attock President Ashar Hayat Khan, along with other party representatives.

A Step Towards Sustainable Transportation

During his address, Sardar Faizan Haider emphasized the importance of modernizing the transport network in the Attock district. He highlighted that the extension of electric bus routes to areas like Fatehjang would not only enhance travel convenience but also contribute to reducing traffic congestion and lowering carbon emissions. By introducing cleaner energy solutions, the initiative supports Pakistan’s broader push toward sustainable urban mobility.

Additionally, he stressed the need for better transport infrastructure across the district, pointing out that improved connectivity is essential for reducing disparities and improving living standards.
