By After four days of significant disruptions, authorities have reopened critical motorways and highways across Punjab, providing much-needed relief to commuters and businesses. The restoration of these major routes marks a return to normalcy for thousands of travelers and transporters who depend on these roads daily.
Motorways Fully Operational
The Motorway Police spokesperson confirmed that the following motorways have been reopened for traffic:
- Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M2)
- Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M11)
- Motorway M-4 (Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakeem)
- Motorway M-14 (Hakla to Dera Ismail Khan)
- Motorway M-3
This reopening comes as a significant relief, especially for goods transporters whose trucks had been stranded for days. The restoration has allowed these vehicles to resume their journeys, ensuring the timely delivery of goods across the province and beyond.
Traffic Resumes in Full Flow

Entry and exit points such as Thokar Niaz Baig and Shahdara are now fully operational, according to Lahore’s traffic police.
