By Pakistan is taking a major step toward electric vehicle (EV) adoption, as Yousuf Dewan Companies (YDC) and Shanghai Launch Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. (LAUNCH) have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop Pakistan’s first National Electric Car.
The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Beijing, aims to introduce cutting-edge EV technology to Pakistan, promote sustainable transportation, and establish local EV manufacturing.

Development of Pakistan’s National Electric Car – YDC and LAUNCH will collaborate to design and manufacture a locally assembled EV, leveraging LAUNCH’s advanced technology.
