Stellantis Korea has introduced Jeep’s first all-electric sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Avenger, as domestic electric vehicle demand rebounds. Designed to blend Jeep’s off-road heritage with urban practicality, the Avenger aims to give drivers an electric option that covers both city streets and unpaved trails.
The Avenger features a 54 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery that can travel up to 292 kilometers on a single charge (313 kilometers in urban conditions). With fast charging, the battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% in just 24 minutes, making it ideal for daily commutes and weekend getaways alike.
True to Jeep tradition, the Avenger comes with the Selec-Terrain terrain management system. In addition to normal, sport, and eco modes, it offers sand, mud, and snow settings for a total of six driving modes. This flexibility allows drivers to tackle varied conditions without worrying about losing control or damaging the vehicle.
Built with a minimum ground clearance of 200 millimeters, a 20-degree approach angle, and a 32-degree departure angle, the Avenger can handle steep hills and uneven surfaces such as campsite entrances or unpaved back roads. A short turning radius of 10.5 meters also makes maneuvering in tight city spaces and parking garages more convenient.
Inside, the Avenger delivers a top-class storage capacity of 321 liters in the trunk plus 34 liters inside the cabin. Higher trims like the ‘Altitude’ add premium touches such as powered seats, driver’s seat massage, and ambient lighting.

Stellantis Korea has announced the largest support fund of the year for Avenger buyers. Equivalent to national and local government subsidies. The company says the domestic EV market is evolving beyond eco-friendly transport to satisfying individual lifestyles. And the Avenger is positioned as a rare option that combines urban agility, safety, and Jeep’s off-roader DNA.
According to the Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association (KAMA). New electric vehicle registrations from January to August have increased by 48.4% compared to last year, with EVs now making up 12.7% of all newly registered vehicles. The Jeep Avenger enters this growing market as a bold new choice for drivers who want both performance and sustainability.
