Hybrid Double-Decker Buses Launched in Lahore

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken a significant step towards boosting tourism in the province by inaugurating five new hybrid double-decker buses in Lahore. These modern, eco-friendly buses will operate on new routes, allowing both locals and tourists to explore the city’s rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks. In addition to Lahore, the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) will operate one double-decker bus in Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi each, while plans are in place to extend the service to Multan and Faisalabad. These expansions aim to promote tourism in these historical and culturally rich cities, further boosting the province’s tourism sector.

The introduction of these hybrid buses marks another milestone in Lahore’s journey to becoming a more tourist-friendly destination.
