The company recently teased the unveiling of this all-electric compact vehicle, generating buzz across the automotive world. Although local details are still under wraps, we have insight into the Lumin’s international features and specifications, giving us a preview of what this innovative car will offer.

Lumin Mini-EV: Features & Specifications

Engine and Performance

Changan’s Lumin mini-EV is designed to be a city-friendly electric vehicle (EV) with an emphasis on efficiency and convenience. The Lumin offers three different LFP battery options:

  • 12.92 kWh: Range of up to 155 km.
  • 17.65 kWh: Range of up to 210 km.
  • 27.99 kWh: Extended range of up to 301 km.

A single front-wheel-drive electric motor powers the Lumin, producing 30 kW (41 hp), with a more powerful 35 kW (48 hp) motor option also available. • Aerodynamic wheel covers: Reducing drag and enhancing efficiency.

With dimensions of 3270 mm (L) x 1700 mm (W) x 1545 mm (H) and a wheelbase of 1980 mm, the Lumin Corn is compact enough to navigate tight city spaces with ease.

Interior Features

  • Eco and Sport driving modes: Allow drivers to choose between energy-saving and performance-boosting options.

The seats are upholstered in high-quality fabric, and while they are manually adjustable, they provide a comfortable ride for city commuting. The Lumin also features ISOfix points for securing child seats, making it a family-friendly option.

With the second-row seats folded down, the Lumin offers a trunk space of 104 liters, ideal for small grocery runs or transporting luggage.
