Changan Pakistan has officially launched a new variant of its popular multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) — the Changan Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG. Known for its practicality and affordability, the Karvaan has steadily built a loyal customer base in the Pakistani market, particularly among families and small businesses looking for a reliable people mover.

The newly introduced Power Plus 1.2L UG variant brings a host of upgrades to elevate the Karvaan experience. From style enhancements to critical safety additions, Changan aims to position the Karvaan Power Plus as a compelling option in the entry-level MPV segment.

What’s New in the Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG?

Style Upgrades:
The new Karvaan Power Plus sports smoked headlamps, stylish 14-inch alloy wheels, a fresh dual-tone interior, wooden accent panels, and garnished A and B pillars — giving it a more premium look than its predecessors.

Convenience Features:
Inside the cabin, Changan has added modern tech to make journeys more comfortable. The MPV now includes a 5-inch MP5 touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera with parking sensors for easier maneuvering, a rear charging port, and newly designed ergonomic headrests for better comfort on long trips.

Safety Improvements:
Safety has been significantly improved — an area where entry-level MPVs have often fallen short. The Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG now comes with dual front airbags (for the driver and front passenger), ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), an anti-theft system, and seatbelts for second and third-row passengers — all vital enhancements for families.

Pricing and Availability:
The introductory ex-dealership price for the Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG is set at PKR 3,249,000. The price includes shipping, handling charges, and sales tax but excludes income tax, advance withholding tax, and any additional tax implications due to government levies.

Changan has announced that bookings are now open for a limited quantity on a first-come, first-served basis with full payment required upfront. Deliveries will follow the effective price as of July 25, 2025. Master Changan Motors has also stated that it reserves the right to change the price without prior notice, so potential buyers should book early to secure the introductory price.

Why It Matters:
The Changan Karvaan has already carved out a solid position as a practical, affordable MPV in Pakistan’s competitive market. With these latest upgrades, the Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG not only enhances its appeal but also addresses key customer demands for better safety and modern convenience.

Whether you’re a growing family, a small business owner, or someone looking for an efficient people mover, the new Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG offers great value — blending style, practicality, and peace of mind in one package.
