By BYD Pakistan, in collaboration with Mega Motor Company (MMC), has introduced the BYD Shark 6, a powerful plug-in hybrid pickup. It is the first luxury PHEV of its kind in Pakistan, now available for booking at PKR 19.95 million on byd-mega.com. Test drives will begin soon across nationwide dealerships.
BYD Shark 6 Pakistan Redefines the Pickup Experience
The Shark 6 is built for both power and performance. It combines a 1.5L turbo petrol engine with dual electric motors, delivering 436 hp and 650 Nm of torque. The pickup accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds. Drivers can expect up to 800 km of combined range, including 100 km in full-electric mode.
It features Mud, Snow, and Sand terrain modes for complete off-road control. With Cell-to-Chassis battery tech and dual-mode hybrid capability, the Shark 6 stays strong and safe in extreme conditions.
Strong on Features, Smarter on Energy
The Shark 6 is more than just a powerful machine. It offers Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) power output, turning it into a portable generator. It also delivers up to 50 KM/L fuel economy, while cutting carbon emissions by up to 62%, based on USEPA data.
Inside, the pickup brings comfort and technology together. It features plush seating, a spacious cabin, and a voice-command cockpit. It also comes with smart driver assistance, auto braking, and other modern safety features.

Charging Infrastructure Is Expanding
Hubco Green, in partnership with leading fuel providers, is installing charging stations every 200 km on the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway. This ensures reliable support for long-distance PHEV travel across Pakistan.
