Capital Smart Motors has announced a significant price increase for two variants of the Riddara RD6 electric pickup truck in Pakistan. According to an official company circular, the RD6 Econ and RD6 Pro have received revised prices following changes in tariffs, duties, taxes and other fiscal measures under the Finance Act 2026 and Federal Budget 2026-27.
New Riddara RD6 Prices in Pakistan
The entry-level Riddara RD6 Econ has received the larger increase. Its price has increased by Rs. 1.1 million, rising from Rs. 13,399,000 to Rs. 14,499,000.
The Riddara RD6 Pro has also become more expensive, with its price increasing by Rs. 1 million, from Rs. 16,999,000 to Rs. 17,999,000.
| Variant | Previous Price | Increase | New Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| RD6 Econ | Rs. 13,399,000 | Rs. 1,100,000 | Rs. 14,499,000 |
| RD6 Pro | Rs. 16,999,000 | Rs. 1,000,000 | Rs. 17,999,000 |
The revised prices have been implemented following the latest fiscal changes announced for the 2026-27 financial year. Capital Smart Motors has attributed the revision to changes affecting tariffs, duties, taxes and other costs.
Riddara RD6 Lineup Also Gets Smaller
Alongside the price increase, Capital Smart Motors has discontinued the Riddara RD6 Air and RD6 Ultra variants in Pakistan. This leaves the RD6 Econ and RD6 Pro as the remaining variants in the current lineup.
The latest changes mean buyers interested in the electric pickup now have two options, with prices starting at Rs. 14.499 million for the Econ and reaching Rs. 17.999 million for the Pro.
The Riddara RD6 was introduced in Pakistan as an all-electric pickup, offering an alternative to conventional petrol-powered pickups. The latest price adjustment, however, means prospective buyers will now need a considerably higher budget to enter the RD6 lineup.
Customers considering the Riddara RD6 price in Pakistan should confirm the latest booking, delivery and applicable charges with authorized dealerships before making a purchase.
