In a bold move, Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan has officially unveiled a new variant of the 6th Generation Honda City—the Honda City Aspire S—alongside a facelift of the existing 1.2L CVT (Special Edition) and 1.5L Aspire models. The launch comes nearly four years after the introduction of the 6th Generation City in Pakistan (2021), reigniting debates among auto enthusiasts who had been anticipating the 7th Generation Honda City, already available in international markets since 2021.

The new Aspire S variant introduces significant cosmetic and functional upgrades, designed to enhance both exterior styling and interior comfort, while keeping the lineup competitive in Pakistan’s growing sedan market.

Key Exterior Upgrades

The Honda City Aspire S boasts several enhancements to elevate its sporty appeal:

  • New Honda Emblem (key highlight)
  • Two new exterior colors: Canyon River Blue and Ignite Red
  • Black trunk spoiler with LED high-mount stop lamp
  • Shark fin antenna in black
  • LED lighting all around: headlights, fog lamps, and rear lamps
  • Black-colored side mirrors and chrome-finished door handles
  • Front chrome garnish and updated rear license garnish
  • Refreshed alloy wheels with a new plate finish

These upgrades lend the Aspire S a sharper, more premium appearance while offering buyers greater personalization options.

Interior Enhancements

Inside the cabin, Honda has focused on comfort and refinement:

  • High-grade fabric seats with a new pattern
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel with baseball stitching
  • Matching gear select knob with stitching
  • Added tweeters for an enhanced audio experience

Together, these updates deliver a more luxurious and driver-focused feel, appealing to buyers seeking both practicality and comfort.

Safety and Technology

Honda has also introduced upgraded ABS with EBD, now featuring the ESP 9.3 Modulator, which promises improved braking efficiency and enhanced overall safety.

Pricing and Booking Details

Honda Atlas has announced booking amounts and ex-factory prices for its updated lineup:

  • Honda City 1.2L CVT Special Edition
    • Booking: Rs. 900,000
    • Price: Rs. 4,737,000
  • Honda City 1.5L Aspire CVT
    • Booking: Rs. 1,200,000
    • Price: Rs. 6,069,000
  • Honda City 1.5L Aspire S CVT (New Variant)
    • Booking: Rs. 1,200,000
    • Price: Rs. 6,149,000

The launch of the Honda City Aspire S signals Honda Atlas’s strategy to refresh and extend the lifecycle of the 6th Generation City in Pakistan rather than shifting to the 7th Generation model. While some enthusiasts express disappointment, the Aspire S—with its new design cues, improved safety, and premium interior—offers a fresh upgrade option for buyers in the competitive sedan market.
