Allied Bank Launches Scooty Finance Plan to Empower Women in Pakistan

In a significant step towards women’s empowerment and financial independence, Allied Bank Limited (ABL) has introduced a dedicated Scooty Finance Plan exclusively for female customers in Pakistan. The initiative aims to provide women with affordable and flexible financing options to own a Scooty — giving them the freedom to travel safely, conveniently, and on their own terms.

Easy Financing for Every Woman

With the new Scooty Finance Plan, women can finance up to Rs. 400,000 to purchase any brand-new, locally assembled Scooty — whether conventional, electric, or hybrid. The plan is designed to break down financial barriers that have often limited women’s mobility and independence.

The scheme offers flexible repayment terms ranging from 1 to 4 years, allowing customers to select a plan that suits their monthly budget. To make the process simple and accessible, applicants only need to make a minimum 30% down payment. The remaining amount is repaid through convenient monthly instalments automatically deducted from the customer’s Allied Bank account.

To keep the cost manageable, the markup rate is linked to the 1-Year KIBOR plus a low 0.5% margin — making this one of the most competitive vehicle finance options available for women in Pakistan.

Who Can Apply?

The Scooty Finance Plan is open to Pakistani women aged:

  • 21 to 59 years (salaried)
  • 21 to 64 years (self-employed)

For salaried women, the minimum net monthly income should be Rs. 35,000, while self-employed applicants need a minimum net income of Rs. 50,000. Applicants should also have at least 6 months of banking history with Allied Bank, or one year with another bank.

Simple Application Process

Applying for the Scooty Finance Plan is straightforward. Eligible women need to submit:

  • Proof of income
  • Copy of CNIC
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Six months’ bank statement
  • Completed application form

Applications can be submitted at any Allied Bank branch across Pakistan. For help and more details, customers can also call the ABL helpline.

Why This Matters?

Allied Bank’s Scooty Finance Plan is more than just a loan scheme — it’s a progressive step towards greater mobility, financial inclusion, and independence for Pakistani women. In a country where safe and reliable transport options for women are limited, owning a Scooty can open doors to better job opportunities, education, and personal freedom.

By launching this initiative, Allied Bank has joined the growing movement of organizations actively working to empower women and contribute to a more inclusive economy.
