In a historic milestone, Atlas Honda has set a new all-time sales record by selling 130,240 motorcycles in May 2025, surpassing its previous high of 128,503 units recorded in November 2021. This surge comes amid renewed consumer confidence, favorable financing conditions, and price stability, making it a standout month for Pakistan’s two-wheeler industry.

According to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), the total motorcycle sales in Pakistan reached 150,175 units in May 2025, marking a 26% year-on-year increase. Honda alone accounted for 86% of these sales, reaffirming its dominant position in the market.
What’s Driving Honda’s Success?
Several factors have contributed to Honda’s record-breaking performance:
- Price Stability: Honda has not increased bike prices since August 2023, helping maintain affordability for consumers.
- High Resale Value: Models like the CD70 and CG125 continue to be top choices due to their unmatched resale value.
- Fuel Efficiency & Reliability: Especially attractive to first-time buyers and daily commuters.
- Economic Stability: Recent improvements in Pakistan’s macroeconomic conditions have boosted consumer sentiment and spending power.
Competitor Performance: United Ranks Second
While Honda continues to lead the pack, United Motorcycles secured the second position with 13,294 units sold in May 2025. Month after month, United consistently holds this runner-up spot, dominating the non-Honda segment of the market.
Other notable performances include:
- Paki Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC): Sold 2,854 units.
- Yamaha: Sold 597 units, the highest since December 2023.
Despite being smaller players, both Suzuki and Yamaha are showing signs of gradual recovery, potentially setting the stage for more competition in the coming months.
Outlook for the Motorcycle Industry
The current trends suggest a positive outlook for the motorcycle sector in Pakistan. With Honda leading the way and other brands gradually improving their sales figures, consumer demand for two-wheelers appears strong. If price stability and financing ease continue, more records may be broken in the coming fiscal year.
