Chawla Green Motors has made a bold entry into the Pakistani electric vehicle (EV) market by launching the Dongfeng Box EV hatchback. Under the hood, both variants feature a 70 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with front-wheel drive (FWD). Powered by a 42.3 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, the vehicle offers an impressive driving range of 430 km on a single charge. It supports DC fast charging that delivers up to 80% charge in just 30 minutes, and also includes a 6.6 kW AC charger.
The car achieves a top speed of 140 km/h, making it suitable for both city commuting and occasional highway drives.
The Flagship 430 variant includes premium design elements such as 17-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlamps, and a 540-degree panoramic camera. The base LUX 430 variant features 16-inch wheels and a rear camera system for assistance.
Inside, drivers enjoy a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-inch infotainment system, wireless phone charging, and multiple drive modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport). The Flagship model goes a step further with a heated and ventilated driver’s seat, adaptive cruise control, and automatic parking.
