Great Wall Motors is all set to revolutionize the hybrid SUV landscape with the launch of the highly anticipated Haval H6 GT Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). Expected to hit international markets in October 2025 and make its local debut by the end of the year, this dynamic SUV promises a fusion of power, luxury, and eco-conscious innovation.

Following the successful introduction of hybrid and electric models from brands like MG, Kia, Jetour, and Hyundai, the arrival of the Haval H6 GT PHEV will further energize the growing trend toward sustainable mobility. With recent launches such as the Kia EV9, Jetour Dashing X70 Plus, Hyundai Sonata N Line, and the fifth-generation Kia Sportage Hybrid, the local market is ready for a bold new entrant.

Striking Design and Advanced Features

The Haval H6 GT PHEV boasts an aggressive yet refined design. Measuring 4727mm long, 1940mm wide, and 1729mm high, it rides on a 2738mm wheelbase—delivering both presence and practicality. Its feature-rich exterior includes LED headlights and taillights, automatic lighting with Follow Me Home, hands-free electric tailgate, panoramic sunroof, roof rails, and rain-sensing wipers.

Inside, the SUV impresses with a 25-inch digital driver display, 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, ventilated and heated front seats, microfiber suede leather accents, and a premium 8-speaker audio system. Comfort meets convenience with dual-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, and a heated steering wheel.

Performance That Leads the Way

Under the hood, the H6 GT PHEV pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 321kW and 762Nm of torque. It features a 43kWh ternary lithium battery and a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) with all-wheel drive, offering a thrilling yet efficient ride.

Safety and Smart Technology

The SUV comes loaded with next-gen safety features, including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, driver drowsiness detection, traffic sign recognition, and a 360-degree camera system. Automatic parking assist and reverse assist further enhance its urban drivability.

A New Era for Plug-In Hybrids

As the market continues to embrace electrification, the Haval H6 GT PHEV is perfectly positioned to meet the demand for high-performance hybrid SUVs. Combining cutting-edge technology, stylish design, and an eco-friendly powertrain, this SUV is not just another vehicle—it’s a glimpse into the future of mobility.
