Xiaomi has officially launched the SU7 Ultra, an electric performance sedan that redefines speed and technology in the EV market. The car was showcased at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, and has already taken the automotive world by storm with its jaw-dropping performance figures.

Insane Performance: Faster Than a Supercar

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features a tri-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup, delivering a staggering 1,548 horsepower (1139 kW) and 1,770 Nm of torque. This allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds—a speed rivaling hypercars like the Bugatti Chiron. The top speed is 350 km/h (301 km/h restricted), making it the fastest mass-produced four-door EV in the world.

A prototype version of the SU7 Ultra even completed a lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6 minutes 46.874 seconds, proving its track-ready capabilities.

Exceptional Battery and Charging Technology

Despite its hypercar-like performance, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra doesn’t compromise on range. It boasts a 620 km range, thanks to Xiaomi’s 897V fast-charging system, which enables rapid recharging. This means owners can enjoy high-speed performance without range anxiety.

Premium Features and Smart AI Integration

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra isn’t just about speed; it also offers a luxurious and technology-packed interior. Key highlights include:

  • Alcantara upholstery for a premium feel
  • Sports seats with graphene heating for comfort
  • 25-speaker premium audio system
  • Nürburgring-tuned chassis and carbon-ceramic brakes for superior handling
  • AI-powered Xiaomi Pilot for semi-autonomous driving

The SU7 Ultra is available in five colors: Lightning Yellow, Space Silver, Verdant Green, Pearl White, and Obsidian Black.

Unmatched Value for Money

In China, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra launched with an official price of RMB 529,900 (~RM 324,882 / $72,988). Surprisingly, Xiaomi slashed the price to RM 320,000 for early buyers, making it more affordable than cars like the Toyota GR Corolla, BMW M2, and Porsche Boxster—yet delivering hypercar-level performance.

Unprecedented Demand

The response to Xiaomi’s electric sedan has been overwhelming. The SU7 Ultra received 6,900 orders within just 10 minutes of launch, demonstrating massive consumer interest. To meet demand, Xiaomi has announced plans to increase production in the coming months.

Final Thoughts

With its record-breaking speed, luxury features, and AI-driven technology, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is setting a new benchmark in the high-performance EV market. At a fraction of the price of traditional supercars, it offers an unparalleled mix of speed, technology, and value.
