India’s automotive giant, Bajaj Autos, is on the brink of introducing the world’s first-ever CNG-powered bike, revolutionizing the market with its eco-friendly innovation. Rajiv Bajaj, the managing director of Bajaj Autos, recently announced that the CNG-powered motorcycles are slated to hit the market in June of this year.

The upcoming bike is expected to belong to the 100-125cc segment, promising both environmental sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Spy shots hint at an under-seat CNG cylinder and a compact fuel tank design, showcasing Bajaj’s commitment to innovation and efficiency.

The announcement of India’s leading automaker launching the world’s first CNG bike marks a significant milestone in the automotive industry. This groundbreaking innovation not only addresses environmental concerns but also offers a practical solution for commuters looking for efficient and affordable transportation.

CNG bikes have the potential to significantly reduce emissions, contributing to cleaner air in urban areas where pollution from two-wheelers is a pressing issue. Bajaj’s initiative underscores India’s dedication to sustainable transportation solutions and sets a precedent for global manufacturers to follow suit in promoting greener mobility options.

The eagerly awaited CNG bike from Bajaj is scheduled for launch on June 18, 2024. The announcement came during the unveiling ceremony of the Pulsar NS400, with the launch date of the Bruzer 125 CNG bike revealed. Bajaj had trademarked the Bruzer name in 2016, indicating its plans for future models in the lineup.

While specific details about the Bruzer 125 CNG’s features and pricing are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated to be affordable for the masses. This new addition to Bajaj’s portfolio aims to revolutionize the motorcycle industry, offering consumers a greener and more economical choice.

Rajiv Bajaj also highlighted the government’s efforts to expand the CNG pump network across the country, making alternative fuel options more accessible to consumers. With the growing popularity of CNG vehicles in areas with improved fuel availability, the future looks promising for sustainable transportation in India.
