Suzuki Mehran Revival Rumors Debunked: No Plans for a “Mehran 2025”

Over the past few weeks, Pakistani social media was abuzz with excitement and nostalgia as rumors of a Suzuki Mehran comeback began circulating. Viral videos showing what was dubbed the “Mehran 2025”—a sleek, AI-generated kei car—sparked speculation about the beloved hatchback’s potential revival. However, Pak Suzuki has now officially shut down these rumors, clarifying that there are no plans to reintroduce the Suzuki Mehran in the Pakistani market.

No Mehran Comeback Confirmed by Pak Suzuki

The official statement came from Pak Suzuki Mian Channu Motors, who categorically denied any ongoing development or future plans related to a new Mehran model. The company has urged the public to disregard viral content and avoid sharing misinformation, stating that the rumors are entirely baseless and misleading.

Despite earlier speculation, including unverified reports of a potential price range between Rs. 1.2 million to Rs. 1.6 million, all such claims have been firmly discredited.

End of an Icon

The Suzuki Mehran, affectionately known as “The Boss”, was discontinued in 2019 after an incredible run that spanned more than three decades. Known for its affordability, fuel efficiency, and ease of maintenance, the Mehran became a staple on Pakistani roads and earned a loyal customer base.

Its discontinuation made way for newer models like the Suzuki Alto, designed to meet modern safety and emission standards. While the Mehran’s legacy continues in the memories of its fans, its time on the assembly line has officially ended.

Don’t Fall for Misinformation

Pak Suzuki’s confirmation makes it clear: there will be no Mehran 2025. Any content suggesting otherwise—whether in the form of AI-generated images, speculative videos, or blog posts—is purely fictional.

Consumers are advised to follow official sources for accurate automotive updates and not to rely on viral trends or clickbait content.
