Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has made a big comeback in the local auto market, especially with its best-selling small hatchback, the Suzuki Alto. According to the latest PAMA (Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association) report, the Suzuki Alto sale June 2025 saw an outstanding surge of 179%, marking a major comeback for the compact hatchback.
Compared to May 2025, where 3,409 units were sold, Suzuki sold 9,497 units of Alto in June, marking not only a massive month-on-month boost but also a strong 29% increase compared to the same month last year, where 4,352 units were sold.
Suzuki’s Overall Performance
In total, PSMC reported a 139% month-on-month growth, selling 13,217 units in June 2025 compared to 5,519 units in May. The detailed breakdown includes:
- Alto: 9,497 units
- Cultus: 523 units
- Wagon R: 153 units
- Swift: 1,784 units
- Ravi: 579 units
- Every: 681 units
This significant growth highlights Suzuki’s strong recovery and dominance in the entry-level segment.
Car Sales Market Trends
As per the PAMA data, total car sales in Pakistan jumped 47% in June compared to May 2025. The industry sold 21,773 units in June, up from 14,786 in May. Year-on-year, the auto industry saw a robust 64% increase compared to June 2024.
Cumulatively, the first 11 months of FY25 show total sales of 148,023 units, indicating a strong rebound in consumer confidence and market activity.

Other Automakers’ Performance
- Toyota Pakistan saw a 24% decline in sales (3,687 units vs. 4,829 in May)
- Honda Atlas recorded a 10% decline (1,808 units vs. 2,005 in May)
- Hyundai Nishat increased sales by 11% (1,457 units vs. 1,307 in May)
- Sazgar Engineering (SAZEW) showed a 47% rise (1,349 units vs. 919 in May)
Breakdown of units sold:
- Toyota: 2,902 units of Corolla, Yaris, Corolla Cross; 785 units of Fortuner & IMVs
- Honda: 1,710 units of City and Civic; 98 units of BR-V and HR-V
- Hyundai: 275 Elantra, 100 Sonata, 302 Porter, 664 Tucson, 136 Santa Fe
- Sazgar: 1,337 Haval series; 12 BAIC
