Since then, the factory has produced two of HAVAL’s most popular models, the HAVAL H6 and HAVAL JOLION. Among these, the HAVAL H6 HEV has particularly captured attention as the country’s first locally assembled New Energy Vehicle, quickly becoming Pakistan’s best-selling SUV.

Since the NEV’s introduction, the adoption rate of New Energy Vehicles in Pakistan’s passenger car market has surged from under 1% in 2022 to nearly 11% by 2024. Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, who attended the 10,000th vehicle roll-out ceremony, emphasized the positive impact of this collaboration on Pakistan’s automotive landscape. “The collaboration has provided Pakistani consumers with access to new models that meet global standards,” said Hussain, highlighting the enhanced travel quality and the accelerated shift toward sustainable transportation in the region.

In the coming year, the company aims to introduce three new energy vehicles to the Pakistani market: the OAR 03, ORA 07, and TANK 500 HEV. SAZGAR also intends to further diversify its lineup with plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs), reflecting a commitment to providing advanced, eco-friendly mobility solutions to Pakistani consumers.
