Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW), the company behind the popular Haval SUV lineup in Pakistan, has posted impressive sales figures during the second month of the ongoing fiscal year, reflecting its growing presence in the local automotive sector.
Haval Sales Performance in August 2025
According to car sales data compiled by Topline Securities, Sazgar sold 1,049 units in August 2025, representing a 10% year-on-year increase. However, sales were slightly lower compared to July 2025, showing a 3% month-on-month decline.
The total also includes sales of the recently launched Haval H6 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), which has been gaining attention among Pakistani buyers for its advanced technology and fuel efficiency.
Strong Start to FY26
For the first two months of fiscal year 2025-26 (FY26), Sazgar’s cumulative sales reached 2,128 units, a solid 20% increase from the 1,778 units sold in the same period last year.
Production numbers have also been strong, with 2,391 vehicles produced in 2MFY26, showing a 31% year-on-year growth. This increase indicates the company’s commitment to scaling up output to meet rising demand for Haval SUVs in Pakistan.
Driving Growth in Pakistan’s SUV Market
Sazgar’s growth trajectory highlights how consumer preferences in Pakistan are shifting toward SUVs and electrified vehicles. The introduction of the H6 PHEV variant has positioned the brand to capture growing interest in environmentally friendly mobility solutions.
Industry analysts believe that Sazgar’s expanding product lineup, supported by robust production, puts the company in a strong position to compete with both local and international players in Pakistan’s auto sector.
With sustained sales momentum and continued demand for SUVs, Sazgar Engineering Works appears set for another year of growth, strengthening its footprint in Pakistan’s premium automotive segment.
