In a groundbreaking development for Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) industry, Capital Smart Motors has officially unveiled the Riddara RD6, the nation’s first fully electric pickup truck. The announcement marks a major milestone in the country’s growing shift toward sustainable transportation.

The Riddara RD6 enters the Pakistani market with a price tag of Rs. 13,299,000, targeting consumers seeking powerful performance blended with environmental consciousness. As electric mobility gains traction nationwide, this release showcases the evolving automotive landscape and increasing demand for electric commercial and utility vehicles.

Performance That Rivals Traditional Pickups

According to official details shared by Capital Smart Motors, the Riddara RD6 boasts some serious performance credentials:

  • 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds
  • Climbing capability up to 45 degrees
  • Towing capacity of up to 3,000 kg
  • Seven driving modes including off-road and city options

Although full details for the Pakistani variant are yet to be disclosed, international specifications offer a glimpse of what’s under the hood. Globally, the RD6 is powered by an 86 kWh battery pack that produces over 436 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. These numbers place it among the most powerful pickups currently available in Pakistan, rivaling competitors like the BYD Shark 6.

A Step Toward Greener Transport

The introduction of the Riddara RD6 reflects a growing trend in Pakistan’s auto market — the transition toward cleaner, electric vehicles. It’s not just a luxury EV, but a high-performance workhorse built for real-world applications ranging from cargo transport to off-road adventures.

As consumers become more eco-conscious and fuel prices continue to fluctuate, EVs like the Riddara RD6 provide a viable and forward-thinking alternative for both individual and commercial buyers.

With this launch, Pakistan’s electric vehicle ecosystem continues to evolve, bringing new options that blend innovation, sustainability, and performance.
