Punjab Unveils Billions in Development Funds for Rawalpindi in Budget 2025–26

In a decisive move to accelerate infrastructure growth in Rawalpindi, the Punjab Government has approved a significant development package as part of its Annual Development Plan (ADP) for the fiscal year 2025–26. Key Projects and Budget Allocations

A flagship component of the development plan is the long-awaited Rawalpindi Ring Road, for which Rs. 9 billion has been secured.   • Rs. 2.0 crore for Choora Sharif to Malukal Road
  • Rs. 15.0 crore for Dhok Budhal to Sukho Road, linking Rawat directly to Chakwal Road
