Punjab Fines Over 500,000 Drivers for Lane Violations in 2025

Green Lanes and Awareness Campaigns Show Results

DIG Traffic Waqas Nazir explained that dedicated green lanes in major cities like Lahore have helped reduce traffic congestion. These lanes guide vehicles into proper formation, improving flow during rush hours.

In other districts, traffic police use cones and markings to organize traffic. Officers actively monitor intersections and guide drivers into the correct lanes. This hands-on approach helps reinforce discipline on the roads.
