Passport Services Expanded to NADRA Centers in Karachi for Greater Accessibility

NADRA Launches Revolutionary Biker Service in Sindh

Share

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a groundbreaking service in Sindh, the “NADRA Biker Service,” aimed at providing citizens with unparalleled convenience in applying for Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) and B-forms. This innovative service will be available in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Mirpurkhas, offering residents the ability to complete their applications from the comfort of their homes.

Bringing Government Services to Your Doorstep

To facilitate the service, NADRA has deployed a fleet of motorcycles—three in Karachi and one each in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas. The Biker Service eliminates the need for citizens to travel to NADRA offices by bringing essential services directly to their doorsteps. This includes applications for new CNICs, renewals, modifications, and B-forms for children.

Seamless and Accessible Service

Residents can book a rider who will deliver the required forms and collect the necessary documents for processing. The service, initially launched in Punjab, has now expanded to Sindh, ensuring greater accessibility for residents across these regions.

The official launch of the Biker Service in Karachi is set for January 20. Citizens can look forward to a seamless experience, with completed CNICs and B-forms delivered directly to their homes. This initiative is especially beneficial for individuals with mobility challenges or those constrained by time.

Affordable and Efficient

For a nominal fee of Rs. 1,000, in addition to regular CNIC issuance or renewal charges, citizens can access this forward-thinking service. The NADRA Biker Service reflects the authority’s commitment to simplifying governance and making essential services more accessible.

NADRA’s Broader Digital Transformation

In addition to the Biker Service, NADRA is also enhancing its digital infrastructure. The authority has announced the launch of a new mobile app that will replace the Pak ID web portal. This app aims to improve accessibility and security, particularly for Pakistanis living abroad, by streamlining document uploads and reducing fraud. The app promises a more secure and user-friendly experience for all users.

A Step Forward in Governance

NADRA’s Biker Service and upcoming mobile app signify a leap forward in public service delivery. By embracing innovation and technology, NADRA is setting a precedent for modern governance, ensuring that vital services are more accessible, efficient, and citizen-focused.
