In a significant move to enhance citizen convenience, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has upgraded its biker service in Karachi, expanding its fleet from three to eight bikes. This expanded service aims to provide faster and more efficient doorstep delivery of vital identity documents, including CNICs, B-Forms, and other registration certificates.
According to Regional Director General Amir Ali Khan, the upgraded biker service is designed to reduce crowding at NADRA centers and offer a more convenient alternative for citizens. With this service, Karachi residents can now receive important identity documents without having to stand in long queues or visit registration offices, saving both time and effort.
Tech-Driven Public Outreach: The Pak-ID Mobile App
As part of its broader digital transformation strategy, NADRA has also launched a city-wide roadshow to create awareness about the Pak-ID mobile application. These roadshows are being conducted in schools, shopping malls, universities, and government institutions, aiming to inform the public about the benefits and features of the app.
Khan highlighted that the Pak-ID app has undergone significant technical upgrades, resolving past user issues and delivering a smoother experience. The app allows citizens to apply for CNICs, renewals, and other identity services without needing to visit NADRA centers physically.
Upcoming Promotional Campaign
To increase adoption, NADRA plans to launch a major promotional campaign in the coming months, encouraging more users to download and utilize the app for their identification needs. With improved services and better tech, NADRA is steadily moving toward a more efficient, digital, and citizen-friendly system.
