Motorbike and Three-Wheeler Sales Surge 31.88% in Pakistan During FY2025-26

Pakistan’s two- and three-wheeler market has shown strong momentum in the first five months of the fiscal year 2025–26, recording a 31.88 percent increase in sales, according to the latest figures released by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA). The surge highlights growing demand for affordable personal transport amid rising fuel prices and improving economic activity.

Motorbike and Three-Wheeler Sales Rise Sharply

PAMA data reveals that 762,778 motorbikes and three-wheelers were sold between July and November 2025, compared to 578,364 units during the same period in FY2024-25. This substantial increase reflects a renewed consumer preference for cost-effective mobility solutions, particularly in urban and semi-urban areas.

Motorbikes continue to dominate Pakistan’s automotive market due to their fuel efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and suitability for daily commuting.

Brand-Wise Performance Highlights

Among manufacturers, Honda maintained its market leadership, selling 647,271 units during July–November 2025, up from 486,758 units last year — a 32.97 percent increase. Honda’s strong brand trust and nationwide dealership network remain key drivers of its performance.

Suzuki posted one of the highest growth rates, with sales rising 47.39 percent, from 9,692 units to 14,286 units, indicating renewed interest in its offerings.

United Auto also performed strongly, recording a 30 percent increase, with sales rising from 56,379 units to 73,291 units. Meanwhile, Road Prince experienced healthy growth of 38.25 percent, selling 11,641 units compared to 8,434 units last year.

In contrast, Yamaha faced a significant decline, with sales dropping 42.87 percent, falling from 2,141 units to 1,223 units, reflecting challenges in pricing and market positioning.

Three-Wheeler Segment Shows Mixed Trends

The three-wheeler segment delivered mixed results. United Auto’s three-wheeler sales nearly doubled, jumping from 322 units to 643 units, indicating growing demand for commercial and ride-hailing purposes.

Qingqi recorded a modest increase of around 4 percent, reaching 4,347 units, while Sazgar and Road Prince experienced slight declines in their three-wheeler sales during the same period.

Market Outlook

Industry experts believe that sustained demand for affordable transport, easing inflation, and stable supply chains could support continued growth in the two- and three-wheeler segment. With motorbikes remaining a necessity rather than a luxury for many Pakistanis, the sector is expected to remain resilient throughout FY2025-26.

Overall, the latest PAMA data confirms that motorbike and three-wheeler sales in Pakistan are on a strong upward trajectory, playing a crucial role in keeping the country’s automotive industry moving forward.
