MG Pakistan Extends Discounted ‘Advantage Price’ on MG HS PHEV Until 31st July 2025

MG Pakistan has announced that it will extend its special discounted “Advantage Price” offer on the popular MG HS Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) for an additional month, offering buyers continued relief amid rising vehicle costs and a changing automotive tax structure.

Originally introduced as an early-bird offer at PKR 9,499,000 until March 2025, the special price was later revised to PKR 9,699,000 through June 2025. With the latest announcement, this discounted price will now remain valid until 31st July 2025. After this date, the MG HS PHEV will revert to its original price of PKR 9,899,000 starting from 1st August 2025.

No NEV Levy on PHEVs Gives MG Buyers an Edge

One of the key factors behind MG’s decision to maintain this lower price point is the government’s recent exemption of plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) from the newly introduced NEV (New Energy Vehicle) Adoption Levy. The levy, part of the 2025–26 federal budget, aims to promote cleaner, energy-efficient transport by applying a tax ranging from 1% to 3% on traditional petrol and diesel vehicles, while encouraging consumers to switch to electric or hybrid alternatives.

MG officials stated that the continued exemption for vehicles like the MG HS PHEV allows them to pass on maximum relief to customers, keeping the model competitively priced and accessible. The company also noted that strong customer demand for the “Advantage Price” since its launch has motivated them to extend this benefit for another month.

The MG HS PHEV is among the most sought-after plug-in hybrid SUVs in Pakistan’s market, offering a balance of modern design, hybrid efficiency, and advanced features. By extending this offer, MG aims to support the government’s push toward cleaner mobility while giving buyers an affordable entry point into the new energy vehicle (NEV) segment.

Book Before the Deadline

Potential buyers who want to benefit from the PKR 9,699,000 price tag are encouraged to place their bookings before 31st July 2025, as the price will increase by PKR 200,000 starting from August. Customers are advised to visit authorized MG dealerships for more details and booking procedures.
