Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has achieved a historic milestone by producing 50,000 vehicles in Pakistan within just five years. This remarkable feat was celebrated at MCML’s advanced manufacturing plant in Port Qasim, marking a significant achievement for the company and the Pakistani automotive industry.

A Fast-Growing Automotive Powerhouse

MCML, a joint venture between Master Group of Industries and Changan Automobile, has positioned itself as a leading force in the country’s auto sector. It is now the second-fastest new entrant to reach the 50,000-unit production milestone in Pakistan, surpassing competitors such as Hyundai, MG, Peugeot, and Haval. Additionally, MCML holds the distinction of being the No.1 Chinese automaker in the country.

The company’s diverse vehicle lineup includes the Oshan X7 SUV, Alsvin sedan, Karvaan MPV, and Sherpa pickup, catering to a wide range of consumers in Pakistan. This rapid growth highlights MCML’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge automotive technology and exceptional value to Pakistani car buyers.

Commitment to Innovation and Customer Satisfaction

MCML’s success is backed by a strong nationwide presence, with 27 dealerships spread across 18 cities. Its well-established after-sales service and spare parts infrastructure ensure a seamless customer experience. The company is also focused on localization, further strengthening Pakistan’s automotive ecosystem.

In a historic first for Pakistan, MCML became the country’s first automaker to export locally assembled vehicles, led by the Oshan X7. The company is now spearheading Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) revolution by introducing Changan’s premium EV brand, Deepal, with the SO7 and LO7 models.

Ali Asghar Damani, COO of MCML, expressed his pride in this achievement, stating:
“Reaching 50,000 units is a proud moment, underscoring our dedication to world-class mobility. This achievement fuels our ambition to introduce even more advanced automotive technologies to Pakistan.”

Shaping the Future of Mobility in Pakistan

With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, MCML is shaping the future of Pakistan’s automotive industry. The company’s commitment to new technologies and localized manufacturing is driving the nation toward a smarter and more sustainable mobility era.
