Master Changan Motors Pakistan has announced an ambitious roadmap that is set to reshape the country’s automotive landscape. In an exclusive interview with PakWheels, CEO Danial Malik shared the company’s long-term strategy focused on expanding consumer choice, embracing electrification, and introducing advanced mobility solutions across all vehicle segments.
The company is transitioning into a “house of brands”, designed to cater to every type of customer — from entry-level buyers to luxury electric vehicle enthusiasts. This approach is guided by the philosophy of “One for Everyone,” ensuring no consumer segment is left behind.
Changan Brand: Mass-Market Mobility for Pakistan
At the heart of Master Changan’s strategy is the Changan brand, which remains focused on affordable and practical mobility. Malik confirmed that three new Changan models will be launched in Pakistan in the coming years, covering ICE, HEV, and PHEV powertrains.
This diversified approach ensures buyers can choose vehicles aligned with fuel affordability, driving habits, and Pakistan’s evolving infrastructure, making Changan a strong contender in the mass-market segment.
Deepal: Expanding Electric & Intelligent Mobility
On the electric front, Deepal continues to push innovation. The recently launched Deepal S05, Pakistan’s first CKD REEV, offers a total driving range of over 1,000 kilometers, effectively addressing EV range anxiety.
Deepal’s roadmap includes the upcoming E07, Hunter K50, and two additional BEV and REEV models, all expected to arrive next year. These launches position Deepal as a leader in intelligent, long-range electric mobility.
Avatr: Ultra-Premium Electric Vehicles Coming to Pakistan
Further strengthening the lineup, Malik confirmed the entry of Avatr, Changan’s ultra-premium NEV brand, into the Pakistani market. Avatr will introduce three advanced electric models, targeting customers seeking futuristic design, luxury, and cutting-edge technology.
11 New Models in Two Years
Altogether, Master Changan will introduce 11 new vehicles in Pakistan over the next two years, spanning mass-market, premium, and electric segments. This expansion significantly broadens customer choice while accelerating the country’s transition toward sustainable mobility.
Reflecting on this vision, Danial Malik stated:
“We want every Pakistani to feel seen — no matter their budget, lifestyle, or need. Choice is power, and our mission is to put that power in the hands of our customers.”
