According to a report shared by PakWheels, JAC Motors is gearing up to introduce the JAC T9 4×2 pickup in Pakistan. This new variant will sit just below the top-spec T9 Hunter 4×4, providing buyers with a more budget-friendly option in the competitive double-cabin pickup segment.

Industry insiders have confirmed that local production of the T9 4×2 has already started, with its official rollout expected in the first week of October 2025.

What’s Different Between T9 Hunter 4×4 and T9 4×2?

Interestingly, the new JAC T9 4×2 retains almost everything from its elder sibling, the T9 Hunter 4×4. From exterior design to interior finish, cabin features, tech package, and safety equipment, both models remain identical. The only difference is the drivetrain, as the new T9 switches from four-wheel drive (4×4) to two-wheel drive (4×2).

This change makes the pickup more accessible in terms of price while still appealing to customers who want a premium double-cabin without necessarily needing advanced off-road capability.

Pricing & Market Position

Sources suggest that the JAC T9 4×2 price in Pakistan will be under Rs. 90 lacs, comfortably placing it below the Rs. 1 crore bracket. With this pricing strategy, the T9 4×2 will directly compete with other popular double-cabin pickups while offering a balance of affordability, rugged styling, and modern comfort.

With production already underway and an official launch around the corner, the JAC T9 4×2 could prove to be an exciting addition to Pakistan’s growing pickup market. Offering nearly the same premium features as the T9 Hunter 4×4 at a significantly lower price, it may attract both lifestyle buyers and business users looking for a reliable double-cabin option.
