Islamabad Traffic Police Deploy Mobile Facilitation Vans Across Capital

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced a week-long initiative to make essential public services more accessible through mobile facilitation vans, operating across Islamabad from October 20 to October 27, 2025.

According to the ITP, these mobile units will operate daily between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, visiting key areas of the city to assist residents with a range of important services—eliminating the need to visit police offices physically.

Services Offered by ITP Mobile Vans

The facilitation vans will provide multiple on-the-spot services, including:

  • Issuance of learner driving permits
  • Renewal of driving licenses
  • Provision of FIR copies and character certificates
  • Registration of tenant and domestic worker details
  • Reporting of lost items and police verification
  • Complaint and registration services for foreign nationals

This initiative is designed to reduce congestion at ITP offices and bring essential police services closer to the public, promoting transparency, accessibility, and community trust.
