The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced the weekly deployment plan for its facilitation vans, aimed at bringing essential licensing and police-related services directly to citizens’ doorsteps. Acting on the directions of Chief Traffic Officer Captain (r) Hamzah Humayun, the vans will operate six days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
According to an ITP spokesperson, the initiative has been designed to save residents both time and effort by decentralizing core services that previously required visits to police offices.
Services Offered by ITP Facilitation Vans
The vans provide a wide range of facilities, including:
- Issuance of learner permits
- Renewal and duplication of driving licences
- Copies of registered FIRs
- Police character certificates
- Registration of tenants and domestic employees
- Registration for foreigners
- General police verification
- Complaint management system

- Monday: Blue Area (near Savor Food)
- Tuesday: I-8 Markaz (beside JS Bank)
- Wednesday: Islamabad High Court
- Thursday: B-17 Multi-Garden Office
- Friday: Bahria Phase-II, Clock Chowk
- Saturday: DHA Phase-V
Second Van (GAC-656):
- Monday: Naval Complex, E-8
- Tuesday: Edopia School, Bani Gala
- Wednesday: Kalma Chowk, Ghuri Town
- Thursday: Gulzar-e-Madina, Rawat
- Friday: G-11 Markaz (near Askari Bank)
- Saturday: Near Golra Darbar
