According to the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), heavy vehicles will be halted at several checkpoints outside the twin cities, including:

- Burhan Interchange
- Chakri Interchange
- Mandra Toll Plaza
- Satra Meel Toll Plaza
To minimize inconvenience, alternative routes have been arranged, though traffic congestion is anticipated, especially on Srinagar Highway and Expressway due to VIP movements. Commuters are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate with authorities.
