GWM Pakistan, in collaboration with Sazgar Engineering, has officially begun pre-bookings for the 2025 Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). With a booking fee of Rs. 1.9 million, the locally assembled SUV will be formally launched on 16 August 2025, marking a milestone as the first locally assembled hybrid SUV in the country.

Facelift Design and Bigger Dimensions

The 2025 facelifted Haval H6 HEV is now 50 millimeters longer than the outgoing model, giving it a total length of 4,703 mm. This extended body improves rear passenger comfort and cargo capacity, making it more versatile for both city commutes and long drives.

The SUV’s new dimensions include:

  • Width: 1,886 mm
  • Height: 1,730 mm
  • Wheelbase: 2,738 mm

These proportions position it firmly in the mid-size SUV segment, offering a spacious and premium driving experience.

Pricing and GST Impact

The ex-factory price is set at Rs. 11.749 million. However, the recent GST hike from 8.5% to 18% will likely raise on-road costs for buyers. This tax adjustment could influence final purchase decisions, particularly in the premium SUV category.

Fuel Efficiency Record

The Haval H6 HEV is not just about size and looks—it’s a proven performer. In ASEAN markets, it covered an impressive 1,242 kilometers on a single tank, setting a regional record for hybrid SUVs. This level of fuel efficiency is particularly attractive for Pakistani buyers facing rising fuel prices.

Market Significance

With its blend of local assembly, hybrid technology, improved space, and exceptional fuel economy, the 2025 Haval H6 HEV is expected to attract eco-conscious and performance-focused SUV buyers alike. The move also signals a shift in Pakistan’s auto industry toward greener mobility solutions.
