Capital Smart Motors is gearing up to make a bold statement in Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market with the upcoming launch of the Forthing Friday REEV, a range-extended electric SUV offering an unmatched 1,150 km total driving range. The pre-launch showcase is scheduled to begin August 19 at major shopping malls across the country, including Centaurus Mall (Islamabad), Dolmen Mall (Lahore), and Dolmen Mall (Karachi).

A Game-Changer in Range and Technology

The Forthing Friday REEV is powered by a 31.9 kWh battery that delivers up to 600 km of pure electric driving. For longer journeys, a generator-only petrol engine adds another 550 km, eliminating range anxiety — a major concern in Pakistan’s EV adoption due to its limited charging infrastructure.

Two variants will be available under the pre-launch offer:

  • BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle): PKR 8,999,000
  • REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle): PKR 10,999,000

Premium Features for the Modern Driver

This SUV comes loaded with high-end features, including:

  • 14.6-inch infotainment display
  • Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
  • Wireless smartphone connectivity
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Up to eight airbags for enhanced safety

Interactive Pre-Launch Experience

From August 19 onwards, visitors to the showcase venues will not only be able to view the vehicles but also pre-book and even test-drive them on-site.

Driving Pakistan’s EV Transition

With this launch, Capital Smart Motors aims to lead Pakistan’s electric mobility transition by offering a balance of range, performance, and premium features — all at competitive prices for the premium EV segment. The Forthing Friday REEV could become a turning point for consumers hesitant about switching to electric due to range limitations.
