By Changan Pakistan has officially raised the prices of multiple vehicles in its lineup, citing the impact of the federal budget, persistent increases in fuel prices, and rising operational costs. The latest price revision affects popular models, including the Oshan X7, Alsvin, Karvaan, and Sherpa series, with price hikes ranging from Rs 45,000 to Rs 200,000.
Significant Hike for Oshan X7
One of the most impacted models is the Changan Oshan X7, which has become increasingly popular in Pakistan’s mid-size SUV segment. Both FS variants—5-seater and 7-seater—have witnessed a substantial increase of Rs 200,000. The Oshan X7 Comfort (7-seater) has also seen a notable price rise of Rs 175,000.
The updated prices are as follows:
- Oshan X7 Comfort (7 Seats): Rs 8,474,000 (previously Rs 8,299,000)
- Oshan X7 FS (5 Seats): Rs 9,149,000 (previously Rs 8,949,000)
- Oshan X7 FS (7 Seats): Rs 9,299,000 (previously Rs 9,099,000)
Alsvin Lineup Sees Uniform Increase
The Changan Alsvin sedan, known for its affordability in the compact sedan category, has also seen a uniform increase across all variants. The Alsvin MT Comfort has gone up by Rs 90,000, while the Alsvin Lumiere and Lumiere Black Edition have each increased by Rs 100,000.
Revised prices for Alsvin variants are:
- Alsvin MT Comfort: Rs 4,189,000 (previously Rs 4,099,000)
- Alsvin Lumiere: Rs 4,899,000 (previously Rs 4,799,000)
- Alsvin Lumiere Black Edition: Rs 4,999,000 (previously Rs 4,899,000)
Price Adjustment for Karvaan and Sherpa
In the commercial vehicle category, Changan has raised the price of the Karvaan Power Plus 1.2 by Rs 50,000, bringing its new price to Rs 3,249,000. Meanwhile, the Sherpa Power 1.2 has seen a relatively smaller increase of Rs 45,000, pushing its new price to Rs 2,349,000.

The automotive industry continues to face immense cost pressures due to fluctuations in exchange rates, increased fuel prices, and higher operational expenses post-budget. Changan Pakistan’s price revision is in line with adjustments made by other automakers who have similarly revised their prices to cope with the changing economic landscape.
